Building stop for holiday houses in Switzerland!!!
On March 11, 2012 a referendum was held in Switzerland to restrict the development of holiday homes.
This referendum was accepted, which means that a maximum of 20% of all properties in a village can be owned as holiday houses; this will basically affect all ski resorts in the Swiss Alps!
So no more new properties will be build!
Prices will increase and it will be more difficult to find your perfect holiday house…..
Until the 1st January 2013 projects with a valid building permit can still be build.
